Support for Parents and Carers
- Many parents come to Life Skills for Kids looking for practical tools to support their child’s emotional wellbeing. What often gets overlooked is your wellbeing.
- As the founder of Life Skills for Kids and a Clinical Psychologist, I understand how relentless parenting can feel, especially when you’re caring for a child with anxiety, big emotions, or additional needs. My approach is neuroaffirming and PDA-aware, offering compassionate support and understanding.
- You’re doing your best, but maybe you feel burnt out or stuck in patterns that aren’t working, you second-guess your responses or feel guilty a lot of the time or you want support that goes deeper than strategies, something more attuned to you.
